"Consider how the wild flowers grow. They do not labour or spin." Yet, they turned out so beautifully.

The artist painted this vibrant vase of florals during Easter 2021, in the thick of the pandemic. It reminded her of provision, and that there was no need to fear, strive or worry about tomorrow.

While travelling in Vietnam on a sunny day, the artist stumbles upon a sea of blooming lotus flowers with morning dew still on its leaves. She was inspired to capture this unforgettable scene. Lotuses rise from muds without stain, hence they often symbolise purity. It also represents peace, resilience, and spiritual enlightenment.
