Carissa Gan is a writer and self-taught abstract artist based in Malaysia. Like wildflowers, her intuitive art expresses the courage to bloom with confidence – unapologetic, unrestrained and deeply rooted in a culture that values thriving over striving.

The abstract process has taught her a lot about trusting herself, making bold decisions, and most importantly, overcoming the fear of making mistakes. Her art journey is a collection of little steps, with every brush stroke painting a story fueled by faith and hope.
