‘Kok Sen by Keong Saik St’ by Swasti Winowidjojo

Porsche 911 Gulf Racing, 76 x 76cm by David Rodriguez

“The colours are nice! It has a light feel to it which brings out the theme of “Do not worry”. Coincidentally, our Bible study on the day the painting was delivered was also on the same passage in Matthew 6. In a way, I think this no coincidence, rather, a confirmation!” — David, a past client

This painting was inspired by the Biblical passage, using the “birds'“ and the “flowers” as subjects of the painting to remind viewers of God’s providence. Commissioned by a couple for their new marital home, here is what they have to say about the artwork:

Matthew 6:26-34

We work closely with client & artist every step of the way.

We listen to you. Communication and feedback are integral parts of our process.

General Process for Commissions

  • #1: Confirmation of Concept

Once you confirm the detailed concept document and make full payment, Sound of Art formalizes a proposal. Upon your final approval, the artist commences the project.

  • #2: Interim Dialogue

Upon reaching 40-60% completion, the artist will share their progress and explain the inspiration behind the work. This is your chance to provide feedback on the agreed-upon concept. The artist will then use their expertise to incorporate your input while maintaining their artistic vision.

For abstract pieces, we will collaborate on a detailed colour palette before the artist begins.

  • #3: Completion of Artwork

As your piece nears completion (around 90%), clients will offer their final feedback, if any. The artist will explain their artistic choices and consider minor suggestions. While aiming for mutual satisfaction, the artist retains final creative control to ensure the artwork's integrity.
