More Than A Conqueror

In all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. Romans 8:37

Through mountain high or valley low, though tidal waves come crashing in, whatever the chaos, whatever the strife, we are more than conquerors through Christ in us. Amidst the darkness, a sliver of God’s glory reaches down into our circumstance in heavenly gold.

We can be still and close our eyes with divine peace. We can soar above the storms of life. We can run to Him and seek safety in our Mighty Fortress.

Open your hands and reach out to God. He will hold our hands and lift us up. God Himself will carry us on wings like eagles.

A mighty fortress is our God, a bulwark never failing;
Our helper He, amid the flood of mortal ills prevailing:
For still our ancient foe doth seek to work us woe;
His craft and power are great, and, armed with cruel hate,
On earth is not his equal.

Dear Heavenly Father, hold me close to You. Save me from my enemies and from the storms assailing me. You are my Deliverer. You hold me in the palm of Your hand and You shield me under Your wings. Come to me in my darkest night; bring Your light and let darkness flee. Amen.
