A vast expanse of stark, cream-white forms the canvas’s quiet ground. From it emerge blots and sweeping strokes of luminous green, bright earth-brown and deep, resonant blue — colours that seem to burst forth from the surface. Pools of light blue gather, hinting at hidden springs surfacing beneath parched terrain.
What was once scorching sand gives way to an oasis; thirsty ground yields to the promise of a life-giving river. Barren grasslands are reimagined as spaces of rich, quiet flourishing.
Inspired by Isaiah 35:7, Desert to Lush Lands speaks to seasons of barrenness and waiting. It invites viewers who find themselves in weary or trying moments to take courage and trust that renewal is not distant, but already breaking through.
