Inspired by the theme of a mother’s love.
Did you know that giraffes live in herds of up to 50? As they do not have strong social ties, members can leave the group at will anytime, except the females with their offsprings. Female giraffes have very strong bonds with their young and they form “nursery groups” of about 10-20. In these groups, they take turns looking after the young while mothers alternate watching and eating.
The towering Mother Giraffe covers her offspring and showers them with love. Through this picture of nature, we are also reminded of the way God watches over us and sends HIs love from above.
