Only recently have scientists discovered that the function of a zebra’s stripes is to ward off biting flies that can carry deadly diseases. The high contrast between black and white tricks the fly’s low-resolution vision.
In the same way, let us put on the whole armour of God and the loving mind of Christ, as we endeavour to clearly discern between good and evil. That is how we can ward off attacks from the enemy.
