Against a luminous golden ground, the character 水 (shuǐ), meaning "water," is rendered in bold, expressive strokes of black acrylic. It invites the soul to quench its thirst. To release control, to be washed and to be filled by an unending flow of divine love, akin to a waterfall from heaven.
This dynamic abstraction is Wendy's visual meditation on water: the eternal symbol of life, purity, wisdom, and flowing abundance. In Wendy's interpretation, water is a sturdy yet graceful movement of source, capable of cleansing, nourishing and shaping even the hardest stone. Subtle, gentle splatters of black acrylic across the surface further evoke the natural splash and flow of water, mirroring droplets suspended in motion.
