"The Little Nyonyas" is a vibrant and heartwarming portrayal of youth and tradition. Five young Nyonyas, or Straits Chinese ladies, resplendent in their colourful Kebayas, dash out onto the courtyard of a traditional Peranakan home carrying classic tiffin baskets. It is a vibrant display of the our unique Peranakan culture, which the artist hopes will continue to be cherished and preserved.
